Research on partially optimized air conditioning system in station space

There are expectations recently for improving comfort in railway stations. The need to mitigate hot environments stations summer is especially strong. purpose of this study was investigate the achievement thermal while conserving energy, not by cooling down whole area but utilizing localized air conditioning systems. A field first conducted an underground station concourse, measuring environment, surveying equipment that dissipates heat, and examining occupant density. Under existing conditions, highest daily interior temperature almost same as outside station, lowest higher than outside; velocity inside low. Study results led conclusion a system movement effective comfort, development special module concourses planning method selecting locations proposed. An evaluation using actual devices mock-up spaces. CFD simulation concourse showed improved developed system.
